  “Circle,” 31’ x 28’ exterior handmade tile mural for North Shore Park Youth Center, Miami Beach, Florida, awarded by City of Miami Beach Art in Public Places Committee, completed in November 2003.

 "Threshold,"  8 1/2' x 12' painted clay permanent installation for entrance lobby, A. Maceo Smith Federal Building, Dallas, Texas, awarded by General Services Administration, Washington, D. C., completed in August 2000.

"Ybor City Streetscape Project",  collaborative project that includes 9 blocks of pedestrian walkways that contain 8' x 4' granite tobacco leaf silhouettes engraved with partial historical phrases pertaining to the surrounding area, completed in September 2000.

 "Knowledge Path,"  200' x 4' soffit area in main library area that includes an installation of and painted clay and collected books, 78th street Community Library, Tampa, Florida, awarded by Hillsborough County Public Art Committee. Completed in October l997.

"Miami's Pot,"  50'  x 5' bridge with 20' x 8' cast concrete form with relief tile sections over Florida Avenue at the Mayfair in Coconut Grove, Florida. Completed in May 1997.

"Conference Table,"  30" x 90" painted clay installation for the Emergency Operations Center, Tallahassee, Florida.  Awarded by Art in State Buildings, Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs.  Completed in July l996. 

 "Tree- Mother,"18' painted concrete sculpture to be installed at Atlanta University Center.  Awarded by Corporation of Olympic Development in Atlanta and Atlanta University Center, Inc.  Completed in June, l996.

"Memory Plaza," public art work for Little Havana Health Clinic.  Awarded by Art in State Buildings Program, Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs.  Completed in August l995.                    

 "Journey," 9' x 20' painted clay mural installation for Fort Pierce Regional Service Center, Fort Pierce, Florida.  Awarded by Art in State Buildings, Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs.  Completed in December l994.

 "Reaching for Miami Skies," painted clay installation for 32' x 92' curved concrete canopy ceiling for Brickell Metromover Station, Miami, Florida, Awarded by Metro-Dade Art in Public Places.  Completed in March l994.

"Journey to Lanzarotte," painted clay installation for NationsBank Building, Charlotte, North Carolina.  Installed in September l992.

"Many Moons, Many Moons," painted clay installation for Palm Beach International Airport, Palm Beach, Florida, Palm Beach Council of the Arts.  Installed  in May l992. 

"Sky through my Moons," clay tile installation for Glenwood Elementary School, Olympia, Washington, Washington State Council of the Arts.  Installed in June l992.

"Minor Help," 6' x 12' clay tile installation for AT&T, Piscataway, New Jersey.  Installed in December l992.

"Houses Within Houses," 20' x 90' clay tile and colored concrete installation on front exterior facade of Allapatah Middle School for Metro-Dade Art in Public Places and Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs in Florida. Completed in August l992.

"Birth of the Intellect," "Infinite Wisdom" and "Broadening of the Mind," wall installations for student lounges at Florida International University, Tamiami Campus, Miami, Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs in Florida.  Completed in August l991.

Honors and Awards:

 Miami Dade College 2009 Hall of Fame Award

 State of Florida Individual Artist Fellowship Award, Oct/02, from Florida Department of State Division of Cultural Affairs.

Artist in Residency Grant, Jun/92, from the Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs in Florida.  In conjunction with Metro-Dade Art in Public Places, the grant enabled the artist to leave a large scale permanent artwork at Allapatah Middle School.

Equal Merit  Award, "Juried Exhibition," Aug/87,  Awarded by William D. Paul, Professor of Art at the University of Athens, former director of the Georgia Museum of Art, For Lauderdale Florida.
