Noel Morera was born in Matanzas, Cuba in 1962. He studied at the School of Visual Arts, Academy San Alejandro, Havana (1975–1979). A member of UNEAC and Taller de Artes Gráficas de la Habana, he is well known for his paintings, murals, sculptures, set designs, and polyptychs. Noel currently lives in Miami, Florida.
He has exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally: Istanbul, Turkey — Madrid, Spain — Alabama School of Fine Arts, Birmingham, Alabama — Valencia, Spain — New York, NY.
