Arturo Cuenca, (1955-2021) one of Cuba's most important artists, he developed his art in Cuba where he won several prizes for engraving, photography and installation before moving to Mexico in 1989 and to the United States in 1991. Arturo fuses photography with painting and evokes a series of very personal issues including sentiments about exile, loss and death. He has been exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally.
