Cuban artist photographer Rogelio López Marín (Gory) was born in Havana, Cuba and he lives and works in Miami, FL. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the National School of Art in Havana and a Master of Art History from the University of Havana.
Considered a key figure of Photorealism in Cuban art of the end of the 70s, López Marín began his photographic career when he renounced painting after the “Volumen Uno” exhibition in 1981.
